(The same arms were utilized by Württemberg-Hohenzollern from 1945-1952, while Stuttgart throughout these years was the main city of adjacent Württemberg-Baden.) The arms of Stuttgart was put into the middle just as one inescutcheon, considering that the cars were manufactured in Stuttgart.
